Padmasana (Lotus) is an iconic pose. One that captures the essence of Yoga. The power and poise visually familiar to countless individuals.
How does Padmasana show up in your practice? Is it a pose that is intriguing, yet is elusive for you? Is it a pose that is attainable, yet the power and poise seem intangible? Have you had a taste of the stability, steadiness, and tranquility the pose can exude and are looking to have those qualities be a more established part of your practice?
We invite you to join this 2 hour workshop to better understand and develop the key elements towards a well constructed Padmasana. Particular attention will be paid to the the three important joints of the lower body – the hips, knees and ankles – which have to move effortlessly.
Expect a systematic and insightful approach with various equipment and of course lots of playful conversation!

- No therapeutics. Students to be able to manage by themselves*
- Minimum 1-2 year experience. Please bring a mat and a thick blanket.
* Padmasana is indeed a wonderful pose; but, at the same time, it brings greater potential for knee injuries. The workshop is not suitable for practitioners with knee complications.
