Kennet Leisure Centre is gearing up for a major refurbishment project, set to begin in December.
The upgrade, funded by West Berkshire Council, aims to enhance the facility’s health and fitness offering for residents of all ages and abilities.
Key Upgrades:
- Gym: A complete overhaul, including redecoration, new flooring, and state-of-the-art equipment.
- Studios: Refreshment and modernisation of the indoor cycling room and other studio spaces.
- Squash Court: A full revamp scheduled for January.
Gym Temporary Closure:
The gym will be closed for two weeks, starting from Monday, December 2nd. During this period, members can utilise the facilities at the nearby Northcroft Leisure Centre.
Minimal Disruption to Classes:
The refurbishment has been carefully planned to ensure minimal disruption to class schedules.
