Horfield Leisure Centre Refurbishment

We are delighted to announce that phase two of three is now complete and we have opened our NEW extended and fully refurbished gym, reception and changing rooms. By Mid February everything will be completed, with only the last stages of the pool changing rooms, the cafe, soft play and immersive studio to be finished.

Our reception has a new look, with better access control, so please bring your EA card or app loaded when you arrive. We apologise for any inconvenience while customers get used to the new access control system, but it will ensure customers are all safe and secure when they come to the centre. Any issues we have put more support on reception to support customers through the new entry system.

Improvements include:

New gym with brand new equipment taking the total stations to over 160

New and extended soft play area

We are VERY excited to have chosen our supplier for our NEW soft Play. This is a Bristol Specific bespoke design with Hot Air Balloons, Wild place animals, the Suspension bridge and other similar Bristol landmarks.

Newly refurbished swimming pool changing rooms, squash courts, cafe and reception area

The building will stay open and most activities will continue to run for the duration of the refurbishment work, however, due to the complexity of the project some activities and facilities may not be available during this time. View the works timeline below:
