We are delighted to inform you that as part of over £400k investments this November & December, Hitchin Swimming & Fitness Centre will see a gym refurbishment with works including:
- New look and feel to the gym
- Brand new fitness equipment
- New lighting
- New flooring
- Redecoration throughout the gym
Key Dates:
The gym refurbishment work will take place from Monday 18th November, reopening on Monday 23rd December.
Where can I train whilst the Gym is being Refurbished?
Members can continue to swim and attend group exercise classes at Hitchin Swimming & Fitness Centre for the duration of the refurbishment works. A temporary gym will be created in the Lido building split across two areas including the spin studio and additional building with Free Weights and Cardio Kit.
The Café will be closed for the duration of the refurbishment so it can provide additional gym space for pin loaded weights machines. During the refurbishment you will be able to order cold & hot drinks and snacks from main reception and additional seating will be provided in the Poolside area.
The café will reopen on Monday 23rd December when the gym work is completed.
Additional Group Exercise classes will be added to the timetable for members to take part in.
Members will also receive access to gyms, swimming pools and group exercise classes at Everyone Active sites in the local area including North Herts Leisure Centre, Stevenage Arts & Leisure Centre, Saxon Pool & Leisure Centre, The Dunstable Centre and Royston Leisure Centre. Plus members will have an Everyone On Demand subscription, granting access to the widest range of fitness and wellness partners.
