Refurbished gym coming December 2024!
The gym at Abbey Leisure Centre is set for a major overhaul. Everyone Active, in partnership with the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, is investing £500k to revamp the layout, install state-of-the-art fitness equipment, and redecorate throughout. This significant investment aims to enhance the facilities available to local residents.
New Equipment
As part of the refurbishment works, the gym will benefit from a whole host of brand-new, state-of-the-art fitness equipment.
- Cardio equipment including recline/recumbent bikes, stair climbers, cross trainers, treadmills and rowers
- Resistance equipment including assisted dip & chin machine, cable machine, abdominal machine, abductor, adductor, prone leg curl and pec fly/rear delt machine
- Free weights including benches, dumbbells and lifting racks
- Plate loaded resistance machines including chest press, pulldown, shoulder press, leg press and hip thrust
- Unwind after your workout in our brand-new stretch area, complete with Theraguns!
