About this Centre
At Kennet Leisure Centre, our mission is to empower the local community to embrace an active lifestyle by encouraging at least 30 minutes of physical activity five times a week. To achieve this, we've equipped our centre with exceptional facilities and cutting-edge equipment. Highlights include a 25-meter swimming pool complete with a beach area, water fountains, and a thrilling slide. Our well-appointed gym boasts state-of-the-art equipment, while two dedicated group exercise studios, a spacious sports hall, two squash courts, and a versatile Multi-Use Games Area cater to a wide range of interests and abilities.
Register for the West Berkshire Everyone Active discount to gain access to reduced rates for activities at this centre. It is free to register and is available to all West Berkshire residents.

Swimming Pool
Kennet Leisure Centre boasts a 25m swimming pool and it’s here you can enjoy all our aquatic activities. These include the likes of our award-winning swimming lessons, as well as family fun swim sessions, lane swimming and loads more. The pool also features a beach area, water fountains and a water slide, making it fantastic fun for the whole family!
Group Fitness Studio
We’ve got two group exercise studios here at Kennet Leisure Centre, including one dedicated to the ever-popular group cycling. Each week we’ve got a packed timetable of classes designed to suit everyone from intense, lung-busting sessions such as Les Mills BODYPUMP to more relaxed classes like Yoga and Pilates. You’re sure to find something to suit you!
Sports Hall
The spacious and versatile four-court sports hall here at Kennet Leisure Centre is where you can enjoy a huge range of sports and activities. These include the likes of table tennis, badminton, hockey, netball, basketball, five-a-side football and so much more. It’s also where we host some of our amazing birthday parties!
Squash Courts
Here at Kennet Leisure Centre, we have two squash courts, which are perfect for enjoying a game of this fast-paced racquet sport.

If you are not ready for a membership, or do not use our centre on a regular basis then a “pay as you go” access may be better for you. Anyone can use our centre on a casual basis, all you need to do is register for an Everyone Active card. This will enable you to start booking classes & activities online or via the Everyone Active app.
