These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry and claim instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

PROMOTER: SLM (Everyone Active), 2 WATLING DRIVE, SKETCHLEY MEADOWS, HINCKLEY, LEICESTERSHIRE, LE10 3EY

1. The promotion is open to GB residents aged 17 plus only. Employees of Everyone Active (the Promoters), their subsidiaries, other group companies, their immediate families, their agents or anyone else professionally connected with the promotion may not enter.
2. Internet access is required to enter.
3. To enter the prize draw, please complete the entry form found at everyoneactive.com/win-swimming-lessons.  Only one entry per person allowed and each person must enter one publication’s prize draw only.  You will be asked to provide your full name, email address and telephone number to enter.
4. Entrants who make an entry on someone else’s behalf will be disqualified, at the Promoter’s discretion.
5. If it becomes apparent that an entrant is reposting the same content multiple times or using a computer(s) to circumvent this or any other condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’ or any other automated means, that person’s entries will be disqualified, and any prize award will be void.
6. Prize Details:
   There is one prize per publication listed on the entry form – winners must select which publication’s prize draw they would like to enter. For each publication, the prize consists of:
   1 x 3 months of swimming lesson package (1 x ½ hour lesson per week, for 12 consecutive weeks) for any child aged from 4 months up to 15 years nominated by the winner at their local Everyone Active swimming pool. Winners can find their local Everyone Active pool by visiting https://www.everyoneactive.com/centre/. Lessons won as part of the prize must be commenced within 12 months of a valid claim and must be taken at the same centre. Lessons may be transferred to another centre in the event of any change of residential location (proof may be required). 7. The opening date for entries is 09.00 on 06/01/2025 and the closing date is 23.59 on 31/03/2025.  Any entries received outside the promotional period will not be accepted.
8. Incomplete, illegible, invalid or misdirected entries will not be accepted. The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.
9. All correctly completed entry forms will be entered into the prize draws. The winners will be selected at random by a computer programme from all valid entries.
10. One winner will be drawn for each publication within 7 days of the closing date. Winners will be notified within 14 days of the closing date of the promotion by email and will be asked to provide the name of their local Everyone Active swimming pool by replying to the winner notification email. If a winner does not claim a prize within 14 days of first being notified, rejects their prize or is ineligible, then another winner will be drawn using the same methodology as above. The process will repeat until an eligible winner is able to claim the prize. Winners are encouraged to monitor their connections during this time in case they are a winner.
11. Winners will be sent a letter via email advising of their prize providing a contact name at their chosen Everyone Active centre within 14 days of winning the prize.  They will then be asked to take that letter into their nearest centre and present it to the contact person provided in order to redeem their prize by either printing off the letter or presenting it on a mobile device, within 12 months of the date the letter was sent by the Promoter. In order to redeem the prize, the following details will need to be provided: For swimming lessons – child’s name and date of birth, parent or guardian’s name and contact details including address, phone number and email address and details of any medical conditions if applicable. Winners will also be asked to provide details of the swimming capability of the child so that they can be allocated to the correct swim stage.
12. Children who are already members of Everyone Active’s swim lesson scheme are eligible to be nominated and their prize will be added to their membership term. If the child is already a member of Everyone Active’s swimming lesson scheme and paying by monthly Direct Debit, their prize will start after the period covered by their Direct Debit ends. If they are ‘paid in full’ for a term, then their prize will commence after the pre-paid period has ended.
13. No responsibility can be taken for entries where telephone and/or email details have been provided incorrectly and a winner cannot be contacted.
14. There are no cash alternatives in whole or in part to the stated prize and unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoters, the prize is non-transferable and will only be awarded directly to the winners for the benefit of their nominated child only. Please check that you have an Everyone Active centre with swimming pool nearby before entering the promotion to avoid disappointment.
15. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with something of equal or greater value in the event of unavailability due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control.
16. Winners may be requested to have their names announced on Everyone Active’s website and to be used for publicity purposes if requested. Winners may be requested to take part in publicity in the form of photographs or interviews with Everyone Active or the publication promoting this competition. For the avoidance of doubt, no children will be requested to participate in any publicity.
17. The winners’ surnames and counties of residence are available by emailing: [email protected] within three months of the Closing Date and requesting ‘Family Press Swimming Lesson promotion winners list’. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse such requests. Entrants can object to disclosure, or request that disclosure be limited in scope by contacting [email protected].  We may nevertheless disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so.
18. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse and/or error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoters reserve the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
19. The Promoters and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
20. The Promoter has no control over the internet or communication networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter will not be held liable to any individual for any fraud committed by any third party nor for any event beyond its control including, but not limited to, user error and any network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind which may restrict, delay or prevent a participant’s entry to the promotion.
21. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
22. Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the rules will be based on English law and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction unless you live in Scotland, in which case your local courts will have jurisdiction.
23. The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the promotion and for no other purpose unless we have your consent. Any data obtained as part of the entry process for the promotion will be stored for 3 months after the close of the promotion before deletion.
