Everyone Active is excited to introduce its new chaperoned Junior Virtual Group Exercise Classes. These are virtual group exercise classes that are designed specifically for children and young people aged 11-15 that are chaperoned by qualified, DBS-checked fitness staff members.

Classes Available

Junior Virtual Group Exercise Classes have been developed for children and young people who are part of our Junior Fitness Membership scheme and there’s a wide range of Les Mills classes to choose from. This means that however your child enjoys getting active, there’s sure to be something for them!

Classes available on the scheme:

How will the Junior Group Exercise Classes Work?

Once booked onto the class of their choice, attendees should wait outside the studio until an instructor lets them in to set up for the session.

Once they’re all set up, the class will be taken by the virtual instructor on the big screen and it’s important attendees follow all instructions given during the session by the teacher on screen.

If needed, the instructor in the room chaperoning the class will offer guidance and suggestions on how to use equipment, as well as technique. Once again, for the sake of safety, it’s important that all instructions from the chaperoning instructor are followed. Any participant not following these instructions may be asked to leave.

If anyone wants to leave the class before the end, they should talk to the instructor in the room, who will make sure they complete an appropriate cool-down before leaving. This will help reduce their chances of injury. At the end of the class, everyone is responsible for the wipe down of their own equipment; as well as putting it away.

Junior Virtual Group Exercise Class Chaperones

Although the sessions are virtual classes – they are taught via instructors on a big screen in the studio – the fully qualified, DBS-checked chaperone is on hand to ensure the safety of everyone taking part, as well as to offer guidance and support where required. This includes helping to set up equipment before the class and helping with technique during the session.

If participants feel they need either a break or want to leave the class, they should talk to the instructor chaperoning the session who will ensure they cool down appropriately before leaving the class.

As well as being responsible for the participants’ safety and enjoyment during the classes, the chaperone is there to help ensure everyone gets the most out of each session. That means that if there is a disruptive element among the class, they will be asked to leave. Participants must follow the instructor’s instructions at all times.

How to book Junior Virtual Group Exercise Classes
