Working in partnership with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) Everyone Active deliver the LTA Youth Programme. The Programme consists of 5 stages and will take your children from learning the basic skills to playing on a full sized court.
Based on the Skate UK Learn to Skate framework, we start you off with the most basic skills and take you all the way up to some fairly advanced manoeuvres. The Skate Tots programme for children aged five and up comprises four levels of achievement, while the Basic Skills scheme is made up of eight separate levels. We also offer free skating and ice dancing lessons too.
Here at Everyone Active we offer NICAS (National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme) sessions. NICAS is a structured programme aimed at progressing beginner indoor climbers through a series of levels. NICAS Level 1 begins with teaching the climber how to put on a harness, tie their climbing knot and belay safely. As the climber progresses through the NICAS levels they will learn a range of climbing movement techniques, set their own goals and develop autonomy within the climbing wall.
Our fully qualified British Gymnastics instructors will lead your child through each development stage completing the progressive development of core skills such as balance, strength, flexibility and co-ordination and incorporates compulsory pulse raising activities.
Developed alongside Swim England’s Learn to Dive framework, Everyone Active’s diving lesson programme is open to divers of all ages and abilities. As long as you’ve learnt to swim, you can learn to dive. The seven-stage framework takes you from the very basics of diving safely, to performing ever more complex dives. Once you’ve completed this scheme, we can even guide you into diving squads at local, national or even international level.
As well as swimming lessons we have a range of other water based activities and disciplines. These include Rookie Lifeguard, Water Polo & Artistic Swimming.
From the very first lesson, you’ll experience the thrill of leaping higher than ever before. With classes for adults, teens and children as young as four, getting started couldn’t be easier. You’ll learn how to maintain your rhythm, as well as how to perform simple aerial tricks. All our sessions are held in a safe, friendly environment and run by fully-qualified British Gymnastics coaches. The coaches are on hand to help you learn and progress through the British Gymnastics Trampoline Proficiency Awards.
At Silksworth Sports Complex and Ski Slope, our fully qualified ski instructors will lead your child through each development stage, from complete beginner to advanced skier. This will help them develop their skills in balance coordination, steering and edge control. Following the nationally recognised Snow life award scheme, children will enjoy moving through 6 levels gaining skills and badges as they achieve each stage.
