At Everyone Active, we believe that Hot Yoga can help to revive your mind, body and spirit, as well as being a great addition to your exercise regime.
It’s one of the fastest growing styles of Yoga around and, as such, our dedicated Hot Yoga studios have been developed to help you achieve physical, mental, and emotional balance.
We offer a wide variety of classes – from 90 minute classes, ‘Warm’ Yoga sessions and 60 minute sessions as well. You can use the sessions to just have fun, while Hot Yoga sessions are also fantastic for improving your overall fitness and flexibility. It’s also brilliant for helping you to achieve balance and feelings of deep wellbeing.
What does Hot Yoga do?
You’ll find that the 100 degree Fahrenheit temperatures inside the Hot Yoga studio loosens your muscles and helps improve your flexibility no-end. Furthermore, the low impact nature of the exercise and the huge range of positions – or vinyasas – that you’ll contort yourself into, means you will work muscles you didn’t know you had and get stronger as a result.
It’s also a fantastic way to improve your breathing – allowing you to breathe in a full and controlled manner, while most who take part report that it helps them to feel revived and re-energised in both their mind and body. Alongside these factors, the high temperatures in the studio means you will sweat out and purge a lot of toxins, helping you feel fresher and increasing your vitality.
Lastly and, perhaps, most importantly is that Hot Yoga is also fantastic for cardio fitness. Your body will expend so much energy trying to cool itself down during the 90 minute session in the hot studio that you can burn up to 1,000 calories each session. This will help with both fitness and weight loss too, alongside all the breathing, strength and flexibility benefits.
Our classes and instructors allow you to work at your own level on both strength and flexibility within a safe, structured and very supportive community.
