Not only will your kids have fantastic fun exploring everything our myriad soft play facilities across the country have to offer, but it will get them active, tire them out. They’ll be having so much fun, they’ll forget they’re exercising, mentally, as well as physically. Our soft play facilities are open to kids aged up to 12 and children under the age of one benefit from free entry!

Climbing is one of those indoor activities that, as well as being adrenaline-fuelled fun for the whole family, provides a remarkable whole-body workout for adults and children alike. With an ever-increasing number of climbing walls at centres across the country, it’s easily accessible to everyone as well. We run sessions on our more fun-orientated Top Rock and Clip ‘n Climb climbing walls, as well as more traditional indoor climbing walls for children and adults from beginners to experts. Climbing is also part of our sports courses programme – which you can find out more about later.

Water Slides & Swimming

Swimming is one of our most popular family indoor activities, with sessions available for swimmers of all ages and abilities at 130+ pools all over the country. As well as standard swimming sessions, many of our pools also offer amazing Atlantis inflatable sessions, while centres such as Moorways Sports Village in Derby and Bracknell’s Coral Reef Waterworld boast fantastic water slides and flumes, making it a fabulous family days out.

TAGactive

An ever-increasing number of Everyone Active centres now feature TAGactive arenas. This fantastic indoor activity is an arena-based game designed to test strategy, speed, agility, awareness and bravery, while promoting fitness, fun and competition! It’s perfect to enjoy if the weather’s not playing ball during the school holidays. The aim of the game is to collect points using a wristband. You swipe your wristband against illuminated TAGs to collect points. The harder these TAGs are to reach, the more points you get. Your total is then totted up at the central computer and a winner declared. There is also a soft play version available, that’s perfect for younger players.

Ice Skating

Ice skating is an outstanding indoor activity that everyone in the whole family can enjoy on those rainy days. We offer open skating sessions, as well as skating lessons, as part of our sports courses programme. Meanwhile, ice skating is also a fantastic alternative for a birthday party or any other form of celebration. Our ice rinks also play host to thrilling games of ice hockey, so why not head down and cheer your local team on?

Football

Many of our centres boast sports halls and within those, several offer five-a-side football sessions for kids to enjoy. This is, naturally, one of our more popular indoor activities and is ideal for those rainy days during the school holidays. Not only will it get your children active and away from screens if the weather’s not playing balls, but they’ll have a great time and maybe make new friends along the way. Indoor football is also a fantastic basis for one of our amazing kid’s birthday parties!

Badminton

Badminton is one of our more popular indoor activities and is offered just about wherever we have a sports hall. Perfect for adults and children alike, this fun and fast-paced sport is a whole-body workout that will get you and your kids active during those rainy days. As well as being a workout for the body, it’s a great mental workout, too, helping improve your mental wellbeing and providing something else to think about than the hectic lives around us.

There’s climbing, diving, football, gymnastics, ice skating, skiing, tennis and trampolining.
