About this Centre
Whatever your fitness goals, we can help you achieve them here at Wellsprings Leisure Centre. Conveniently located in north Taunton, Wellsprings Leisure Centre boasts a vast array of fitness facilities to suit everyone. There's a fantastic gym that's packed with all the latest equipment, perfect for everyone regardless of whether you fancy a cardio workout, want to lift some weights, do some resistance work, functional exercises or a mix of all four. Wellsprings also has two group fitness class studios. It's here that you'll be able to enjoy a huge range of group fitness classes ranging from intense cardio workouts such as Les Mills BODYPUMP to more relaxed sessions such as Yoga or Pilates. Wellsprings Leisure Centre also has a fantastic sports hall where you can enjoy an array of activities, from pre-school gymnastics to badminton. The sports hall is also transformed into the largest events venue in the town, hosting comedy nights, boxing and Christmas parties.

Wellsprings' gym is packed with all the very latest equipment, making it a one-stop-shop for anyone looking to get more active. Whether you're looking to boost your cardio fitness, build some muscle, tone, lose some weight or just get moving more, Wellsprings' gym is perfect for everyone.
Group Fitness Studio
The two group fitness studios at Wellsprings Leisure Centre play host to our enormous array of group fitness classes. With expert instructors teaching sessions that will suit everyone - from intense cardio classes like Les Mills BODYPUMP to more relaxed Yoga sessions - there really is something to suit people of all fitness levels and ages.
Events Hire
Our venue has the capacity to hold all kinds of events, from dog shows to a sell-out crowd for comedians such as Jimmy Carr. We also run a very successful Christmas party programme in December, providing a sit down meal for 500 people and themed entertainment until 1am.
Virtual Group Cycling Studio
Whether you’re a regular group fitness attendee, or a beginner who wants to try a number of different classes, Les Mills RPM Virtual Group Cycling Classes are ideal for you. Each class lasts 30-60 minutes and are led by some of the world’s top instructors via our giant screen. They take you through each workout, while the music and lights help you feel immersed in the experience.
Sports Hall
The large and versatile sports hall can be used for a huge number of different activities and sports, including five-a-side football, badminton, volleyball, netball, table tennis and basketball. It's a great way to have fun and get active at the same time.
