Football Pitches
Washington Leisure Centre 3G is one of the newest and best football facilities in the North of England, based in Tyne and Wear.
We offer a range of activities including 5-a-side football leagues, block bookings, casual bookings and football parties.
Our six 5-a-side 3G pitches are fully floodlit, with each pitch split into pens with kickboards, and are suitable for casual bookings, block bookings or team training. Open 7 days per week.
Join a League
Our fantastic 5-a-side football leagues take place on Monday and Thursday evenings.
The league has a range of benefits including:
- A FREE trial game for all new teams
- FA Qualified Referees – FA Affiliated leagues
- 40 minute games, roll on roll off substitute players
- Trophies to our winning team, plus the season’s top goal scorer and player of the season

Block Booking
We welcome block bookings 7 days per week subject to availability and opening times.
Block bookings have the same pitch guaranteed at the same time every week.
- 5-a-side block booking off peak: £30 per hour
- 5-a-side block booking peak: £35 per hour
- FA affiliated winter junior training price: £28 per hour

Casual Bookings
We welcome casual bookings 7 days per week subject to availability and opening times.
Casual bookings are payable at the time of booking.
- 5-a-side casual booking off peak: £30 per hour
- 5-a-side casual booking peak: £35 per hour
