About this Centre
Stevenage Swimming Centre is one of Hertfordshire’s premier community swimming pools, gyms and spas. Among its facilities, the centre features a six lane, 25-metre main pool, a shallow pool separated from the main pool by a movable boom, as well as a 12-metre teaching pool. The centre also boasts a fabulous saunarium and steam room for members to enjoy.

Here at Stevenage Swimming Centre, we’ve got three pools – a six lane main pool, a smaller pool separated by boom and a 12-metre teaching pool. The main pool and the shallow end pool are where we host the majority of our award-winning swim lessons, as well as relaxed family fun sessions and lane swimming too.
Saunarium & Steam Room
Stevenage Swimming Centre’s saunarium and steam room offer the perfect place to relax after a long day at work or tough workout. As well as the saunarium and steam room, the spa area also features a plunge shower, tropical rain shower and a tranquil seating area with mood lighting.
Swimming Lessons
Our award-winning swimming lessons are some of the best in the business. We offer lessons for children aged as young as four months, going all the way up to advanced courses for talented swimmers who want to take it to the next level. We also offer adult swimming lessons for those who never quite got round to it when they were younger. All our swim lessons follow the Swim England Learn to Swim framework and are taught by fully-qualified instructors.

Take the stress out of your child’s birthday party by letting us do all the hard work! Designed specifically for children aged eight years and over, our pool inflatable parties make the water even more fun with our large pool inflatables.

If you are not ready for a membership, or do not use our centre on a regular basis then a “pay as you go” access may be better for you.
