About this Centre
South Oxhey Leisure Centre has undergone major building works to extend the facilities and add a brand-new 25 metre, four-lane swimming pool, as well as an all-new teaching pool. Current facilities have also been improved during these works. Both of the old group fitness studios have been reconfigured and one relocated to provide more space in each, while they’ve also enjoyed a makeover to make them feel more modern and stylish. A new dedicated group cycling studio with virtual classes has been introduced as another fantastic facility in the centre.
This centre has implemented a cashless system. This has significantly reduced queuing times and improved customer service.

Whatever your fitness goals, our state-of-the-art gym has all the equipment you could need to achieve them. As well as all the cardio equipment you’d expect, there’s also a huge range of resistance machines, as well as a large and varied free-weights area, all of which means you’ll be able to get the most out of your workout.
Group Fitness Studio
You’ll be able to enjoy a huge range of different group fitness classes in either of our two dedicated studios. All our classes are led by highly-trained instructors and the wide range means there’s something for everyone.
Swimming Pool
Our swimming facilities consists of a brand-new 25 metre, four-lane swimming pool, as well as an all-new teaching pool. It’s here that we host our award-winning swimming lessons, while you can also enjoy fitness swimming sessions, as well as using the pool for fun swimming and a number of other aquatic activities.
Sports Hall
Come and enjoy a wide range of activities in our large and versatile sports hall, including table tennis and badminton.
Artificial Football Pitch
Our artificial 3G all-weather pitch is perfect for five-a-side football teams of all ages and abilities. It’s available throughout the year for both block and casual bookings and whether you just want to have a kick around or are a little more serious, you’re bound to have great fun.
