About this Centre
Here at Saxon Pool & leisure Centre, our mission is to help everyone in the local community enjoy getting active for at least 30 minutes, five times a week. To help us do that, our centre is packed with outstanding facilities and all the latest equipment. These include two swimming pools – a 25-metre main pool and a smaller teaching pool – as well as a 102-station gym. There’s also two group exercise studios, a sports hall and a café, too.

Here at Saxon Pool & Leisure Centre, we’ve got two swimming pools. There’s a 25-metre, eight lane main pool and a smaller teaching pool. The main pool is where we host the majority of our award-winning swimming lessons, as well as family fun swim sessions, lane swimming and loads more. The teaching pool, meanwhile, is perfect for small children to get their first taste of the water.
Gym
Saxon Pool & Leisure Centre’s 102-station gym is ideal for everyone, regardless of whether you’re a regular gym-goer or are just starting out. Whether you prefer cardio, resistance, functional, free weights workouts – or a combination of all four – you’ll find a gym that’s suited to everyone and packed with all the latest equipment.
Group Fitness Studio
We’ve got two group exercise studios here at Saxon. Each week we’ve got a packed timetable of classes designed to suit everyone from intense, lung-busting sessions such as Les Mills BODYPUMP to more relaxed classes like Yoga and Pilates. You’re sure to find something to suit you!
Atlantis Adventure Mega Inflatable
Come along and join in the fun with our mega inflatable. Sessions for children and adults aged five and above can be found here every weekend (excluding gala events) and throughout the school holidays.
Cafe
Our café serves a range of delicious and nutritious drinks and snacks to help replenish your energy levels after a tough workout. It’s also perfect if you just want a coffee with a friend!

If you are not ready for a membership, or do not use our centre on a regular basis then a “pay as you go” access may be better for you. Anyone can use our centre on a casual basis, all you need to do is register for an Everyone Active card.
