About this Centre
Romford’s premier ice skating and leisure facility, the brand-new Sapphire Ice & Leisure offers a fantastic range of activities. At the forefront is our full-sized ice rink that, as well as being open to the public, is also home to the Everyone Active Raiders ice hockey team, who you can watch in action when they play at home, click here for advance ticket notifications for future games. Alongside our ice rink, you can also enjoy our state-of-the-art gym, two swimming pools – in which we host our award-winning swimming lessons – and dance studios, as well as refuel and refresh at our two fully-licensed cafés.
This centre has implemented a cashless system. This has significantly reduced queuing times and improved customer service.

Ice Rink
Our full-sized ice rink is also open to the public and is perfect for a fun family day out. Whether you’re just starting out or are an experienced on the ice, we welcome skaters of all abilities to join us and take advantage of this wonderful facility. In addition to public skating, we also offer both ice skating and ice hockey lessons for people looking to develop within the sport. We are also home to the National Ice Hockey League Romford Raiders team who both train and play at the facility.
Swimming Pool
Our main 25m pool is eight lanes wide and plays host to fun sessions and fitness-focussed lane swimming time slots. We also have a teaching pool which is perfect for younger swimmers and for families to come in and take their first steps in to swimming.
We also offer a fantastic range of award-winning swimming lessons for both juniors and adults as well as hosting a number of aqua aerobics sessions each week, too.
