Can I bowl in my own shoes?
Yes, you can bowl in your own shoes at our centres, as long as they …are a flat-soled shoe. But don’t worry if you bring the wrong shoes suitable pairs are available at reception.
What’s your dress code?
There is no set dress code, however we do ask that you wear appropriate clothing for a family centre.
What are the age restrictions for bowling?
There are no restrictions, although we suggest that, given the weight of bowling balls, no child under the age of four takes part. As long as you’re fit and strong enough, there is no upper age limit, and we love to see all ages coming together to have great fun on the lanes. The junior age range is from 0-15 years old.
Can I book a session in advance?
Our bowling alley can get very busy at peak times, so we advise booking in advance. You can do this by calling us on 01753 969 720.
Do you offer discounts for larger groups and parties?

What age is classed as a junior for bowling?
The junior age range is from 0-15 years old. We suggest that the minimum age for a child to bowl is 4, but it is solely dependent on the child and their ability. Our smallest ball is XS, which is 6lb (2.72kg) in weight. We can provide bowling ramps that help children to push the ball if bowling by hand proves difficult, while we also have bumpers that stop the ball going into the gutter.
How long does a game last and how many people per lane?
Each lane can handle up to six people, with games charged per person. Games are not given any set time period, although the more players on your lane, the longer the game will last. One game for six adults would typically last around an hour.
