About this Centre
Ryedale Sports Centre has everything you’ll need to keep active, healthy and happy. Our full-sized outdoor astroturf football pitch can split into smaller pitches, depending on your needs. Elsewhere, the state-of-the-art gym is the perfect place to help you achieve your fitness goals, whatever they may be, while our group fitness classes are designed to suit everybody’s needs. Furthermore, you can enjoy badminton, netball, basketball, volleyball, five-a-side football and even cricket in our sports hall.
Ryedale has many outdoor facilities, such as tennis courts, football and hockey.

Ryedale Sports Centre Facilities
Gym
Our fantastic gym includes 11 cardio machines and six resistance machines, along with a small free weight section, so you’re sure to find the right workout for you. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are always on hand to help you out as well.
Group Fitness Studio
Our group fitness studio plays host to a variety of different classes. Whatever your fitness goals may be, you’re sure to find the right class for you, while the social nature of the sessions means you can meet new people too.
Sports Hall
Come and enjoy a range of activities in our six-court sports hall. We have a range of activities for you to enjoy, including badminton, short tennis, table tennis, five-a-side football and many more. The facility also has cricket nets which has four bays to practice in the winter months.
Tennis Courts
We’ve got seven outdoor tennis courts available for hire here at Ryedale Sports Centre. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned player, they’re perfect for training, playing fun games with friends or family, as well as more serious games.

The floodlit outdoor artificial pitch can be used for full 11-a-side matches or split into three 5-a-side football pitches.

If you are not ready for a membership, or do not use our centre on a regular basis then a “pay as you go” access may be better for you.
