About this Centre
Rayleigh Leisure Centre plays a key role at the heart of the community. With a variety of first-class sports, fitness and leisure facilities at hand, there’s something to help everyone enjoy staying active. To start with, there’s our 45-station gym, that’s packed with all the latest equipment, while there’s also a dedicated group exercise studio, two squash courts, a four-court sports hall where you can enjoy a variety of sports and activities. Rayleigh also boasts two artificial grass five-a-side football pitches, as well as an indoor bowls rink, a café and social space.

Gym
The gym here at Rayleigh Leisure Centre offers everything you need to stay active. Whether you’re a regular gym-goer, or new to fitness, you’re sure to find something for you. There are myriad cardio machines to help boost your stamina, plyometric and functional equipment, as well as a host of resistance machines and a free weights area to help boost strength.
Group Fitness Studio
Rayleigh Leisure Centre boasts a dedicated group exercise studio and offers a full programme of classes to suit everyone. Whether you prefer an intense Les Mills BODYPUMP class or a more relaxed Yoga, Pilates or Rejuvenate session, there’s something for everyone, regardless of age or fitness level.
Sports Hall
Our versatile four court sports hall is where you can enjoy a huge range of sports and activities. From badminton and table tennis to volleyball, netball, basketball, football and just about everything in-between! We’ll also host some of our enormously popular birthday parties here!
Indoor Bowls Rink
Everyone is welcome to come try out this game of skill and subtlety at our indoor bowls rink. Regardless of your experience level, it's a great way to make new friends and try something new - whatever the weather.
Artificial Football Pitches
Whether you’re just having a kickabout with friends, are organising a more serious training session, or want to make us your home ground, our two five-a-side artificial cages are perfect for players and teams of all levels.
