About this Centre
Right in the heart of London, the Porchester Centre is a fantastic place to work out, swim and to work towards your fitness goals. Here, you’ll find modern gym and swim facilities. Our large gym includes over 170 stations, including the latest cardio and resistance kit. There's also a women's only gym with state-of-the-art cardio and weights equipment, alongside two swimming pools host a range of activities, including our award-winning swimming lessons, alongside casual swim sessions and fitness sessions, too. Furthermore, we also offer a variety of group fitness classes that are designed to suit every need.
This centre has implemented a cashless system. This has significantly reduced queuing times and improved customer service.

Our 170+ station Bayswater gym is one of central London’s largest gym facilities. Its various zones are all equipped with the latest TechnoGym kit. We also have fully qualified, knowledgeable and friendly Fitness Motivators on hand to help you with anything you need, as well as a women's-only fitness suite.
Group Fitness Studio
With over 80 fitness classes a week to choose from, there are plenty of opportunities to try different types of group workouts from aqua aerobics to Body Combat, Pilates and Group Cycling classes. Swimming Pool
Our 30m, four lane main swimming pool at Porchester Leisure Centre is ideal for all to enjoy. Perfect for fitness swimming or casual swimming, with dedicated times throughout the day for both, you can also take advantage of our separate teaching pool for beginners. Porchester Spa
Everyone Active and Westminster City Council are delighted to present the newly restored Porchester Spa. After an £800,000 refurbishment, this iconic Grade 2* listed building has returned to its 1920s splendour.
Events Hall
Porchester Hall’s classic art deco design and understated elegance make it the ideal location for parties, dinners, receptions and weddings. The main hall has played host to concerts from the likes of Ed Sheeran, Amy Winehouse and Pink Floyd, as well as TV broadcasts, including Monty Python’s ‘The Meaning of Life’ and ‘Stand up for Cancer' on Channel 4.

If you are not ready for a membership, or do not use our centre on a regular basis then a “pay as you go” access may be better for you. Anyone can use our centre on a casual basis, all you need to do is register for an Everyone Active card. This will enable you to start booking classes & activities online or via the Everyone Active app.
