About this Centre
Here at North Herts Leisure Centre, we’ve got a huge range of activities for everyone to enjoy, regardless of age or fitness level. Whatever your goals and however you want to achieve them, you can do so here. Our large, recently-revamped, gym is well equipped with brand-new Life Fitness kit, while we also have a huge range of group exercise classes – including group cycling – to appeal to people of all ages, abilities and fitness levels. The centre also boasts a fantastic swimming pool complete with wave machine and flume, while there’s also a sports hall, soft play facility, squash courts and a café, too.

This large, recently-refurbished, gym has everything anyone could want from a fitness suite. Whether you’re a regular gym-goer already, or you’re just starting out, you’re certain to find something for you. As part of the refurbishment, the gym now boasts all-new Life Fitness cardio, resistance, functional and free weights kit, so whatever your workout, you can find it here.
Group Fitness Studio
Our group fitness studios provide the home for a fabulous array of classes. Whether you’re looking for something fairly intense such as a Les Mills BODYPUMP class, or something more relaxed such as Yoga or Pilates, we’ve got something for everyone.
Swimming Pool
This isn’t just any swimming pool. The pool here a North Herts Leisure Centre boasts a fantastic wave machine and water flume*. This makes the water fantastic fun for the whole family, bringing excitement and adventure to the pool. It’s not just about fun, however. We also hold our award-winning swimming lessons in the pool, alongside family fun sessions and a whole host of others. *For use of the flume, bands can be purchased at reception on arrival for an additional fee.
Sports Hall
Our large and versatile four court sports hall is where you can enjoy a huge range of sports and activities. From badminton and table tennis to gymnastics, volleyball, netball, basketball, football and just about everything in-between!
Play Wild Soft Play
North Herts Leisure Centre boasts boasts a fantastic jungle-themed Play Wild soft play centre that’s packed with everything your child could need to enjoy their day. This includes monkey bars, cargo nets, rope bridge, log ramp climber and small and large slides. We recommend you book your session to guarantee your time slot. However, there is no requirement to book, and you can choose to turn up and attend the next session with availability.
