About this Centre
Moorways Sports Village and Water Park combines a brand-new £42 million water park and leisure centre with the existing Moorways Stadium to create a fantastic new sports and leisure facility for the whole community. The new water park and leisure centre boasts an enormous 50m swimming pool, which can be split into three 25m pools. There are also three flumes and slides in the leisure pool, as well as a Wow Ball, to create waves in the leisure pool. There are also two soft play facilities, a state-of-the-art gym, group fitness studios, a teaching pool, as well as a sauna and steam room. The stadium complex comprises of an athletics track, as well as grass and artificial football pitches.

Moorways’ water park is, perhaps, the jewel in its crown and an amazing family destination. It’s here you’ll be able to enjoy the centre’s headline features such as the flumes, the water slides and the Wow Ball wave creator, all of which help to make the water as fun as possible for the whole family. Look out for exclusive sessions such as SEND, Autism Friendly, Home Education and much more.
Swimming Pool
Moorways’ Flagship 50m, 10 lane main pool has a movable floor and two booms so it can be split into three. Accessible features for this pool include a pool pod, pool lift and a moveable hoist that can be used across all areas of the pool. It can be used for leisure swimming, our award-winning swimming lessons and our fantastic inflatable swim sessions - among others - all at the same time. The pool will also be able to host a range of swimming events across the community and wider national programme. In addition, the smaller learner pool - with its sensory lighting - however, is the perfect place for little ones to try the water for the first time.
Gym
The first floor fitness and health suite will be packed with the latest Technogym cardio and resistance equipment, large free weight area with Olympic racks and a functional area including a track. With a great, welcoming atmosphere you will be sure to find the right workout for you.
Group Fitness Studio
We boast three group exercise studios here at Moorways, available for hire throughout the week. Instructor classes alongside a fully scheduled virtual time table means that there is always an opportunity to take part, regardless of age or fitness level.
