About this Centre
In the summer months, there’s nothing better than taking a refreshing swim in an outdoor pool and the 50m heated pool and smaller teaching pool at Letchworth Lido are the perfect place to do just that. Both are situated in the beautiful environs of Letchworth’s Norton Common, giving the lido a fantastic atmosphere. We also offer a sunbathing area where you can relax, unwind and maybe even have something to eat or drink from our Café.
When the temperatures drop, Letchworth Lido transforms into a winter wonderland. Lace up your skates and glide across the ice rink, surrounded by the enchanting atmosphere of the season. Whether you're a seasoned skater or taking your first tentative steps on the ice, there's fun for everyone.

Ice Rink
Glide into winter wonderland at our ice rink! Enjoy the thrill of ice skating amidst a festive atmosphere. Our rink can accommodate up to 100 skaters, so whether you're a seasoned pro or taking your first steps on the ice, there's a place for everyone.
Lido
The 50m heated outdoor pool here at Letchworth Lido is the star attraction – and for good reason. It’s here we host lane swimming sessions, family fun swimming sessions and so much more.
Learner Pool
The smaller, shallower learner pool is great for younger children to build their confidence in the water before they move up to enjoy all the delights the full-sized lido has to offer!
Sunbathing Area
We’ve got a fantastic sunbathing area next to the Lido where you can hire a sun lounger to help you make the most of your time with us. However you prefer to tan – be that in total serenity, listening to music, The Everyone Active Podcast, or reading a good book, this is the perfect place to do it. Just don’t forget the sunscreen!
