About this Centre
The all-new Kirkby Leisure Centre brings with it more and better opportunities for everyone in the local community to get active. The £15.5 million centre boasts a fabulous array of facilities that are sure to appeal to everybody. These include an 85-station gym, a 25-metre swimming pool a group exercise studio, a group cycling studio, a soft play area, four-court sports hall and a café. There’s also a sauna and steam room, a meeting room that’s available to hire, a sensory room, as well as the Mary Rose Health Hub.

The 85-station gym features everything you could want. Whether you’re after a lung-busting cardio workout, boost strength with some weights-based exercises or tone up and get flexible with some functional workouts, there’s something here for everyone.
Swimming Pool
Our 25m, four-lane pool is where we host both our award-winning swimming lessons and our huge variety of public swim sessions. It also features a movable floor, giving us the flexibility to change the pool’s depth. As well as the pool, there’s also poolside splash pad for children to enjoy.
Group Fitness Studio
Our Group Exercise studio plays host to a fantastic variety of classes designed to suit everyone, regardless of age or fitness level. There are both instructor-led and virtual classes to choose from, too. So, whether you prefer an intense Les Mills BODYCOMBAT session or a more relaxed Yoga or Pilates class, there’s something for everyone.
Group Cycling Studio
One of our most popular classes, group cycling is a fantastic way to get active and improve your cardio fitness. These instructor-led sessions feature dynamic music and are ideal for anyone, regardless of age or fitness level.

If you are not ready for a membership, or do not use our centre on a regular basis then a “pay as you go” access may be better for you. Anyone can use our centre on a casual basis, all you need to do is register for an Everyone Active card.
