We have courses starting in September 2024, then January 2025, it is not possible to start mid programme. If you are eligible and would like to be considered for a place on future courses, please complete a referral form and we will send you details once they are confirmed. Please note that as our funding is limited, we are prioritising places for those who live in a higher area of deprivation postcode.
The programme consists of group-based sessions open to all ages (18yrs+), genders and abilities with programmes running across Havering. All programmes are led by qualified weight management and exercise specialists so you will receive expert and up-to-date support free of charge.
We require you to be motivated to making lifestyle changes and commit to attending a weekly 2 hour session consisting of a 1 hour class room based session and a 45 minute low impact physical activity session for 12 weeks.

You will be offered a confidential weight and measuring service at the start of each session so we can support and track your progress.
Our sessions are led by experienced instructors who develop a great environment and allow time to socialise with other individuals to discuss challenges and success.
We will have a whatsapp or facebook group to help share hints and tips such as activity classes or recipe ideas whilst on the programme.
We require participants to provide us with information which will be used for monitoring and evaluation of their progress throughout the 12 week programme. On completion of the scheme you will be supported to maintain your weight loss and healthy lifestyle journey.
Our programme has successfully supported lots of people to lose weight and maintain it.
We advise that individuals should consult with their GP prior to starting any new exercise or nutrition programme.
There are conditions which are not appropriate for referral please see our inclusion and exclusion criteria for full details.
Do not worry, our weight management and exercise specialists will lead the group through a low impact workout at a level that supports weight loss whilst being appropriate for varying abilities. All you require is comfortable clothing, training shoes and a bottle of water
