About this Centre
The Cottonmill Community and Cycling Centre provides a hub for everyone in the local community to gather and enjoy the local facilities. The CCCC provides a small café, offering comfortable indoor and outdoor seating, function rooms available for hire, full Changing Places facility available, a free to use multi-use games area, and fantastic cycling facilities, while there's also an outdoor 3G artificial pitch available for hire. Also, our proximity to the Alban Way makes us a popular with families and leisure cyclists. Meanwhile, we also offer free parking for 36 spaces, including three disabled bays.

Function Room
The function room is available for booking. We have small and large room options available. If you would like to make a booking please submit an enquiry to the team.
BMX Pump-Track & Cyclo-Cross Track
The brand new BMX pump-track is the perfect place to help you learn bike control and flow through course at higher speed. As well as that, it’s the perfect place to enjoy your bike with your friends! Alongside the BMX pump-track, there’s also a Cyclo-cross track so you can enjoy some off-road adventures on your bike in a specialised environment, away from any traffic.
St Albans Cycle Hub
The St Albans Cycle Hub offers workshops on how to ride bikes, as well as essential repairs and maintenance – all vital parts of the bike ownership experience.
Artificial Football Pitch
Our state-of-the-art 5-a-side 3G pitch offers a premier football experience. The 3G surface guarantees consistent play in all weather, providing excellent grip and shock absorption. Fully enclosed with high-quality netting and professional floodlights, it's perfect for day or night games.
Cafe
Take the opportunity to rest and refuel at our cafe with a variety of hot & cold refreshments available. We have comfortable seating inside and outside on the terrace for you to enjoy your food and drinks.

Wudu Room
Wudu rooms (ablution facilities) have been added for Muslim prayer. Ablution is a vital Islamic ritual involving water purification of body parts. This marks the first such facility in any St Albans community space
Community Outreach Programme
Join us for empowering workouts at Cottonmill! We offer This Girl Can and Legs, Bums, and Tums classes as part of our programme.
Community Facility
Our venue serves as a dynamic community hub, hosting a variety of activities and events organised by local organizations and charities.
Quiet Room
This is a room dedicated to peace, introspection and tranquillity. The hustle and bustle of the modern world is banished and replaced with an environment of almost Zen-like calm.
