About this Centre
Middlesbrough’s Neptune Centre features a fantastic range of facilities to help keep you and the local community active, healthy and happy. The 120-station gym features all the latest cardio and resistance equipment, as well as free weights, to help you achieve your fitness goals. Meanwhile you can also enjoy our swimming pool, including our award-winning swimming lessons, casual swimming sessions and aqua aerobics classes, among other things. Furthermore, there’s also a fantastic choice of virtual fitness classes that are suitable for just about everyone, while you can also relax in our newly refurbished sauna and steam room.

Our 120-station gym is one of the largest in the area. Featuring the latest Life Fitness cardio and resistance equipment, there’s also a large free weights area. On hand is a team of our knowledgeable Fitness Motivators and personal trainers who are happy to assist wherever possible.
Group Fitness Studio
Our group fitness studio plays host to a variety of different virtual classes. Whatever your fitness goals may be, you’re sure to find the right class for you, while the social nature of the sessions means you can meet new people too.
Swimming Pool
Our eight-lane, 25m competition-standard swimming pool is supplemented by our smaller learner pool and both are ideal for swimmers of all abilities. Take advantage of our award-winning child and adult swimming lessons, as well as all the other sessions we offer, for both the casual and serious swimmer.
Active Wellbeing Suite
The Neptune Centre Active Wellbeing Suite is ideal for those who are looking to improve their fitness, lose weight or increase their strength in a controlled social environment.
