For 2024 and beyond, Everyone Active has partnered with two charities to help raise both funds and awareness for two incredibly important causes. These are The Ben Kinsella Trust and Breast Cancer Now. Both charities are inextricably linked to Everyone Active and its colleagues, with both causes directly impacting those within the company. These partnerships will begin on 1st August and we are aiming to raise upwards of £50,000 for each charity.
Breast cancer is something that will have impacted just about all of us – either directly or indirectly – which is why we are pleased to announce our partnership with Breast Cancer Now for 2024 and beyond.
For more than 50 years Breast Cancer Now – through a number of iterations – has been supporting people and the families of those living with breast cancer. Alongside support and information from trusted healthcare professionals, as well as the community of those living with breast cancer, the charity also funds ground-breaking research into defeating this terrible disease, alongside campaigning for the best possible treatment.
Breast cancer is something that affects a large proportion of the UK population. It’s the most common cancer in the UK and one woman will be diagnosed every 10 minutes. This means 55,000 women – and 400 men – are diagnosed every year, with one in seven women developing breast cancer in their lifetime.
But we can help. With your support, we can raise more money to help fund research, support workers and campaigns.

The Ben Kinsella Trust is a knife crime charity that aims to help tackle knife crime through education and campaigning.
Named for Ben Kinsella – a London teenager whose life was tragically and senselessly taken by knife crime in 2008 – the Trust works with communities across the country to help educate children and young people on the dangers of carrying a knife, as well as campaigning for tougher legislation.
Knife crime is a national tragedy. In the 12 months up to March 2024, there were 233 murders involving a knife or sharp object in England and Wales, of which 78 were young people aged under 25. Of these, 10 were under 16. This coincides with 3,888 admissions to hospitals over the same period in England and Wales for assault by a sharp object.
Knife crime is a particularly poignant subject for all at Everyone Active since a colleague at our K2 Centre site in Crawley was tragically a recent victim of knife crime, losing their life through no fault of their own at an incredibly young age.
